PAST BUZZARD'S NEWS ITEMS

(Jan 2006) Mark van Bork joins Buzzard's Bayou. The group is delighted to have drummer Mark van Bork playing with us. Mark's a Berklee graduate (MP&E, B.M. '92) and teaches audio production at Emerson College and The New School University. A professional drummer for over 25 years, his interests include nearly everything -- jazz, rock, blues, country, musical theater, and film scores. He teaches drum lessons on Cape Cod to students of all ages. In addition to playing with the Buzzards, Mark drums for the classic rock-funk-soul-accordion band 4 Eyes and jazz ensemble Stolen Moments, featuring vocalist Kim Mitchell. Welcome aboard, Mark!

(Spring, 06) Aaron Mayo joins BB, too. This guy can play awesome guitar.  From Orleans, he plays with Mark in another band. (Four Eyes).  His leads are always tasteful and juicy, and we can groove on his rhythm.

Coonamesset Farm Cajun Buffet:  Well, it was fun the first time, but this was even better.  Thanks to everyone who came and made it a party.  We love to play outdoors.  The food was great!  A few folks danced on the porch, there was plenty of room.  We're negotiating with Ron and Roxanna about doing it again.  Looks like Sept 2.
